KIEV, July 4 - The Ukrainian government, which oversees the country??™s power sector, moved to increase prices for power that is exported to some European countries by 56% later this month, the government said in a statement Tuesday.
The government allowed the state-owned power exporter, UkrInterEnergo, to increase power prices to $39 per 1,000 kWh when exporting to Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary from July 11, up from $25/1,000 kWh.
