KYIV, Oct 26 - Ukrenergo and the French transmission system operator (RTE) have discussed with the construction of an energy storage system in the united power system of Ukraine.

"Ukrenergo is considering the possibility of implementing a pilot project for the construction of a 200 MW energy storage. Its task is to test methods of balancing solar and wind power plants, the number of which in the united energy system of Ukraine is growing rapidly," the company said.
