KIEV, July 3 - Special tests showed Ukrainian nuclear power reactors can successfully use nuclear fuel produced by Westinghouse, a U.S. company, suggesting Ukraine will be able to cut dependence on Russian fuel, officials said Monday.

EnergoAtom, which incorporates all four Ukrainian nuclear power plants, said the first stage of tests over the past 12 months at one of its reactors were successful.
