KYIV, Oct 16 - France's Alstom, the producer of rolling stock and railway infrastructure, is interested in the fast start of operation with Ukrainian suppliers of railway transport components and is ready to sign contracts early next year, Alstom Sourcing Supervisor in Europe Alexandre Latapie said at the presentation of the company at the Rail Expo 2018 in Kyiv on Tuesday.

"The company has many suppliers. Only in Europe there are about 500 of them. We buy a lot. In particular, we are interested in purchasing cabins, interior decoration parts and various aluminum profiles. We are also interested in aluminum castings for engine cases and parts, sheet metal, steel or cast iron casting," he said.
