KIEV, June 29 ??“ There will be between 478,500 and 820,400 HIV infected adults in Ukraine by 2014 or between 1.9% and 3.5% of the adult population, according to a research by the World Bank and International HIV/AIDS Alliance.

The HIV/AIDS epidemic will worsen Ukraine's already unfavorable demographic situation, Andriy Klepikov, the executive director of the Alliance in Ukraine, said at a recent presentation of the research results.
