NEW YORK, Sept 27 – Ukraine will seek to boost economic and trade ties with Turkey after a meeting between President Petro Poroshenko and his Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in New York.
"The heads of state reaffirmed the mutual interest in further developing strategic partnership between Ukraine and Turkey, including by strengthening the political dialogue at the highest level. In this regard, a number of practical agreements were reached in the context of holding the next meeting of the Ukrainian-Turkish High-Level Strategic Council and also trilateral meeting in the Ukraine-Turkey-Azerbaijan format," Poroshenko’s press service said.
