KYIV, Sept 27 – The volume of money remittances to Ukraine from emigrants working in other countries exceeds $5 billion a quarter, Board Chairman of RwS Bank Vladyslav Kravets said.
"According to the Asian Development Bank, about 80% of transfers are made through the physical transfer of money across borders by migrants, their friends, relatives or other persons for the purpose of transferring the money to families of clients. The remaining 20% of transfers are sent through banks, official money transfer systems and postal money transfer channels. We believe that the volume of money transfers to Ukraine exceeds $5 billion per quarter," the press service of RwS Bank reported, citing Kravets.
