KYIV, Sept 5 – Coal stocks at warehouses of power plants as of September 4 totaled 1.895 million tons, which is 20,000 tons or 1.1% less than a year ago, Ukraine's Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported on Tuesday.

The ministry said that if coal stocks fell in the summer of last year, then this year they increased, as a result of which the gap between current and last year's indicators is constantly decreasing: at the end of July it reached 1.67 million tons, or 29.4%, a week ago – 180,000 tons, or 8.7%.
