LONDON, Aug 29 – Transgaz, the operator of the gas transportation system of Romania, has stated it is mulling the possibility of building another interconnector connecting the country with Ukraine, which can be considered as an alternative for the Bulgaria-Romania-Hungary-Austria (BRUA) pipeline for gas exports from the Black Sea deposits.
According to the report of Transgaz for the first half of 2018, the operator published on August 22, the pipeline will run between Gheraesti in the northeastern part of Romania and Siret on the border with Ukraine.
