KIEV, June 22 ??“ A pro-Western coalition controlling a simple majority in Parliament was officially registered on Thursday after 239 lawmakers had put their signatures on the agreement, ending three months of complicated talks.

The coalition, which was registered one day before President Viktor Yushchenko could technically obtain the right to dismiss the legislature, pledged to quickly appoint the new government.
