BAIKONUR, June 21 - Sea Launch, an international satellite launching consortium that launches Ukrainian space rockets from sea-based platform, said it had been recently successfully promoting its land-based sister venture.

The venture, known as Land Launch, is supposed to launch rockets with satellites from Baikonur, a cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, as opposed to using expensive sea-based platform.
