KYIV, Aug 15 - The new An-178 transport aircraft with a payload capacity of 18 tons, designed by the Antonov State Enterprise (Kyiv), will replenish the novelties of the Ukrainian defense industry at a military parade in Kyiv on August 24 on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day.

"As planned, the new An-178 transport aircraft will be presented at a parade of military hardware on Khreschatyk on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence," a source in the defense sector told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.
