KYIV, Aug 1 – President Petro Poroshenko has said a military unit has received two modernized MiG-29MU1 fighters.

"The Ukrainian military received modernized fighters MiG-29MU1. Two combat aircraft that will strengthen the defense capability of the Ukrainian army are already in one of our military units," Poroshenko said on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

The MiG-29 fighter, like the Su-27, is the main combat aircraft of Ukraine's Air Force.
