KYIV, July 31 – Turbine generator TG-3 of power unit No. 2 (VVER-440) at Rivne nuclear power plant (NPP) at 23:07 on Friday, July 27, was cut off from the power grid for routine repairs, the press service of Energoatom said.

"On July 27, at 23:07, in accordance with the agreed request, turbine generator TG-3 of power unit No. 2 (VVER-440) at Rivne NPP was disconnected from the power grids for the routine repair of the control valve RK-1. The unit was unloaded to 55% of the rated capacity," the report said.
