KYIV, July 23 - Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has discussed with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources Francis Fannon cooperation in the energy sector and the threat of the Nord Stream 2 project.

"Ukraine and the United States are united in their position to counteract the implementation of the Russian project Nord Stream 2, which is a direct threat to the energy security of Europe and worsens the situation with the diversification of energy supply to European consumers," the Cabinet's press service said, quoting Groysman as saying after the meeting with Fannon.
