KYIV, July 19 – Coal mining enterprises of Ukraine in January-June 2018 reduced extraction of coal by 10.5% (by 1.939 million tons) compared to the same period in 2017, to 16.495 million tons.

The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry told Interfax-Ukraine production of coking coal decreased by 8.2% (by 286,200 tons), to 3.202 million tons, steam coal by 11.1% % (1.653 million tons), to 13.294 million tons.
