KYIV, May 30 – The surplus of Ukraine's balance of payments in April was $290 million, according to preliminary data posted on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

In January-April 2018, the surplus of the balance of payments was 418 million, which is 95.3% less than a year ago.

The surplus of the current account in April was $175 million compared with the deficit of $628 million in March 2018 along with the decline in the deficit of trade with goods and the reduction of expenses to service the state debt.
