KYIV, May 23 - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) continues to negotiate with Ukraine on a bill on the High Anti-Corruption Court with the aim of bringing the legislation into compliance with the country's obligations under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Goesta Ljungman said.
"It is crucial that the Expert Panel, consisting of independent experts with extensive and recognized experience and expertise in fighting corruption, is given a crucial role in verifying that applicants to the position as a judge on the High Anti-Corruption court have the necessary qualifications related to corruption adjudication," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
