KYIV, May 2 – Kyiv in April 2018 was the warmest it has been since 1881, according to meteorologists at the Boris Srezvevsky Central Geophysical Observatory.

According to their data, the temperature in Kyiv was 4.4 degrees Celsius warmer than the climatic norm. According to observations of the meteorological station of the observatory, the average temperature in Kyiv was 13.1 degrees Celsius above zero – the warmest in the capital since 1881.
