KYIV, April 24 – A recent raid by the SBU security service of the aircraft engine maker Motor Sich was an attempt to seize the assets by rival business interests, Viacheslav Bohuslayev, Motor Sich president and the largest shareholder, said Tuesday.

SBU said the raid has prevented a controversial transaction that would have awarded the assets to an undisclosed foreign company amid national security concerns.
