KYIV, March 27 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny has said that it was predictable that Germany would issue a permit to build and operate the Nord Stream 2 pipeline in the German exclusive economic zone. The company will continue pursuing Europe that the implementation of the project would affect its energy security.

"As expected, the German regulatory authorities issued the last permit for the construction of the Nord Stream 2 in Germany. This time it is a 30-kilometer zone in the exclusive economic zone, which is an unpleasant but predictable act. It does not stop counterwork," Naftogaz said.
