KYIV, March 23 – The ratio of the total state and guaranteed debt of Ukraine to GDP in 2017 fell from 80.9% to 71.8%, Deputy Finace Minister Yuriy Butsa has said.
"For the first time since 2011, this percentage has decreased and began to approach the "safe" value of 60%," he wrote on his Facebook page.
The deputy minister said that direct debt fell from 69.2% to 61.5% of GDP, and guaranteed from 11.7% to 10.3% of GDP.
