KYIV, March 5 - S&P Global Ratings stated its ratings on the Russian state-controlled gas company Gazprom remain unchanged after Gazprom announced its plans to start court proceedings to cancel contracts with Ukraine for both gas transit and gas sales.

"This comes after the Stockholm Arbitration Court ordered Gazprom to pay $2.56 billion to the Ukrainian energy company Naftogaz," it says.
