KYIV, Feb 23 – Ukraine should refrain from adopting the bill "Buy Ukrainian, Pay to Ukrainians" that may be violating the Free Trade Area under the Association Agreement with the European Union, Christian Danielsson, Director-General for Enlargement of the European Commission, said.
"We have an association agreement with Ukraine that has created a deep and comprehensive free trade area and envisages economic integration of Ukraine and the EU - as deep as possible, and if this bill really violates the provisions of the Association Agreement - then we will very much advise Ukraine refrain from its approval," Danielsson said in an interview with Yevropeiska Pravda.
