KYIV, Feb 6 – Responding to mounting pressure from the U.S. and the European Union to step up battle against corruption, President Petro Poroshenko urged lawmakers to approve a bill that creates special anti-corruption court.

"There are months of responsible decisions ahead, but what I would ask people's deputies to do immediately, in strict accordance with all regulatory procedures, is to begin consideration of the draft law "On the Anti-Corruption Court," Poroshenko said in a post on Facebook.
