KIEV, May 29 ??“ Ukraine within the next two weeks may start talks with Russia over natural gas supplies to try to avoid a price hike in July, a newspaper reported citing Energy and Fuel Minister Ivan Plachkov.

The talks between the two governments would complement an agreement that has been signed by Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national oil and gas company, and Gazprom, Russia??™s state gas monopoly, in January.
