KYIV, Jan 3 – Zaporizhia metallurgical plant Zaporizhstal, one of the largest taxpayers in Zaporizhia region and in Ukraine, reduced the production of rolled stock by 4.6% in 2017 from 2016, to 3.214 million tons.

Last year, steel production increased by 0.9%, to 3.926 million and that of pig iron rose by 5.4%, to 3.795 million tons, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.
