KYIV, Dec 26 – The Finance Ministry has completed the fourth stage of additional capitalization of Kyiv-based PrivatBank through an additional issue of government domestic loan bonds worth UAH 16 billion in exchange for the bank's shares, the ministry's said on its website.

The decision on the additional capitalization of the bank to the tune of UAH 38.5 billion was made by the Cabinet of Ministers on June 23, 2017, on the basis of proposals by the National Bank of Ukraine, recommendations by the council of experts and analysts on the state's participation in banks' charter capital, and conclusions by PrivatBank's independent auditor, EY.
