KYIV, Dec 21 – Most (85.9%) Ukrainians think the battle against corruption in the country is completely or mostly unsuccessful, according to the results of a poll conducted by the Foundation of Democratic Initiatives named after Ilko Kucheriv and the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
Survey results released at the Kyiv-based Interfax-Ukraine news agency on Thursday show 60.2% percent of respondents believe the battle is completely lost, 25.7% mostly lost, but with some successes, 7.8% mostly successful, but with numerous unsolved problems. Only 1.2% of those polled said the battle against corruption is a success.
