KYIV, Dec 12 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny head Andriy Kobolev during his visit to the United States last week and meetings in Washington, D.C. with U.S. Trump administration officials discussed natural gas supplies to Europe and the preservation of gas supplies to Europe via Ukraine.

"Kobolev thanked the Trump administration and Congress for their resolute position on the North Stream 2 pipeline and called on the American side to contemplate more active steps to counteract planned construction of the pipeline, which goes around Ukraine," Naftogaz Ukrayiny’s press service said in Kyiv on Tuesday.
