KYIV, Nov 24 – Naftogaz Ukrainy bought 19 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas in January-October 2017, which is 14.5% or 2.4 bcm more than a year ago.

The company said in a press release that in particular, the company's imports from the European market over the period grew by 29.3% or 1.7 bcm, to 7.5 bcm, and purchase of gas from Ukrgazvydobuvannia rose by 6.5%, to 11.5 bcm.

In October, Naftogaz bought 1.5 bcm of gas, including 1.1 bcm from Ukrgazvydobuvannia and 0.4 bcm of imported gas.
