KYIV, Nov 8 – Six major Ukrainian power companies have agreed to work together to integrate the country’s power grid with the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E).
Ukrenergo, Energoatom, Ukrhydroenergo, DTEK Energo LLC, Centrenergo and Donbasenergo signed the memorandum on Wednesday.
Ukrenergo said the memorandum envisages the creation of a joint coordination council headed by Ukrenergo. Within one month from the moment of its signing representatives of the sides are to draw up a technical action plan.
