KYIV, Nov 3 – Ukraine’s aircraft manufacturer Antonov will continue to help maintain airworthiness of the An family aircraft, including transport An-124-100 Ruslan transport aircraft operated by Russia's Volga-Dnepr as part of its obligations under ICAO Convention, the company said.
In an official statement Antonov said the developer's failure to maintain the airworthiness of the aircraft, as specified in Annex 8 to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Convention and the ICAO Airworthiness Manual, will lead to introduction of international sanctions against the Antonov Enterprise and Ukraine.
