MOSCOW, Nov 3 - Russian cargo carrier Volga-Dnepr and Ukrainian state company Antonov are holding closed-door negotiations on extending the airworthiness of the An-124-100 Ruslan heavy transport aircraft, national daily Kommersant reported on Friday, citing sources in the aircraft industry.

Ukraine has earlier banned its state companies from trade with Russia, which is accused by Ukraine and by the West of destabilizing eastern parts of the country.
