KYIV, Nov 2 - Ukraine's thermal power plants (TPP) and combined heat and power plants (CHPP) in January-September this year received 2.623 million tons of imported coal.

The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry told Interfax-Ukraine in the nine months through September this year Ukraine's power plants received 2.09 million tons of coal from the Russian Federation (79.67% of total imported coal shipped), 369,100 tons from South Africa (14.07%), 118,900 tons from Poland (4.53%) and 45,200 tons from the United States (1.72%).
