KYIV, Nov 1 – Exports of Ukrainian agricultural products to the European countries totaled $4.177 billion in January-September 2017, rising by 39.8% year-over-year, Ukraine's Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry reported.
"The increase of our exports to the EU countries was mainly thanks to growth of supplies of corn by 57.4%, rapeseeds by 72.9%, sunflower oil by 23%. In addition, supplies of meat and poultry byproducts significantly increased, as well as honey, confectionary products, margarine and niche products like sorghum and flax seeds," Deputy Agricultural Policy and Food Minister for European Integration Olha Trofimtseva said.
