KYIV, Oct 26 - Eco-Optima Group has launched the Stary Sambir-2 wind power plant with an installed capacity of 20.7 MW in Lviv region, the press service of the group has told Interfax-Ukraine.

Investment in the project was UAH 1.1 billion. It was implemented with the involvement of the EBRD and the Clean Technology Fund of the World Bank.

The station is equipped with six Vestas wind turbines, the estimated production of electricity is 56 million kWh per year.
