KYIV, Oct 24 – Former Deputy Prime Minister and a wealthy businessman Sergiy Tigipko will merge VS Bank to with his TAScombank (Kyiv) after acquiring the Lviv-based bank, he said.

"We want to merge VS Bank and TAScombank – we undertook such obligations. This will allow us to significantly increase the capital [by 60%], which we've just raised by 25%. We are not going to reduce the number of branches," he said.
