KYIV, Oct 23 - Industrial production in Ukraine in September decreased by 0.3% compared to the same month in 2016, while in August it increased by 1.2%, the State Statistics Service has said.

The agency said taking into account adjustment for the effect of calendar days, industrial production in September 2017 from September 2016 declined by a mere 0.1%.

It said in comparison with the previous month, in September this year industrial production grew by 2.5%, however, taking into account the seasonal factor, a decrease of 0.4% was recorded.
