KYIV, Oct 23 - There is no threat of rolling blackouts in the autumn and winter period, Ukrenergo Head Vsevolod Kovalchuk has said at the Open Energy Week forum in Kyiv.

"There won't be rolling blackouts in the autumn-winter period. Scenarios have been developed to cover the deficit," he said.

At the same time, according to the head of Ukrenergo, the situation with coal reserves at thermal power plants (TPP) is currently unsatisfactory.
