KYIV, Oct 20 - Ukraine in January-August 2017 imported 8.857 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas for a total of $1.999 billion, according to the State Statistics Service.

The average price of gas imported by the country, according to the service, in August 2017 it was $210.40, per 1,000 cubic meters against $208.20 in July, $216.60 in June, $212.60 in May, $209.60 in April, $234.70 in March, $252.50 in February, and $244.60 in January.
