KYIV, Oct 3 – Ukraine has entered October 2017 with 16.395 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas inventories in underground storage, more than doubling them by 8.294 bcm, according to operational data from Ukrtransgaz.
The inventories amounted to 8.1 bcm on March 22, at the end of the previous heating season.
The current inventories are 15% more than on September 30, 2016 (14.256 bcm), 4.5% more than on September 30, 2015 (15.684 bcm) and 1.5% less than on September 30, 2014 (16.648 bcm), according to Interfax-Ukraine calculations.
