MOSCOW, May 15 ??“ Soyuz Victan Group, Ukraine??™s biggest producer of alcohol, said it plans to purchase its second distillery in Russia and a cognac plant in France, a company official said Monday.

Andriy Okhlopkov, the chairman of the group's supervisory board and a major shareholder, said the to-be-purchased distillery is located in the Moscow region, but refused to provide the name. Soyuz Victan also owns one alcohol producer in Ruza near Moscow.
