KYIV, Sept 5 – Ukraine's thermal power plants (TPP) and combined heat and power plants (CHPP) in January-July this year received 1.745 million tons of imported coal, including 344,800 tons from the Russian Federation and 45,000 tons from South Africa in July.

The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry told Interfax-Ukraine in the seven months of this year Ukraine's power plants received 1.436 million tons of coal from the Russian Federation, 190,100 tons from South Africa, and 118,900 tons from Poland.
