KYIV, Sept 4 – Ukraine in January-July 2017 boosted natural gas consumption by 4%, or 736 million cubic meters (mcm) year-over-year, to 19 billion cubic meters (bcm), Ukrtransgaz reported.

In particular, the industry consumed 5.8 bcm (9.6% up from January-July 2016), households and budget organizations 7.2 bcm (0.8% down), municipal heat supply companies 3.7 bcm(6.5% down), and consumption for production and technological purposes was 2.3 bcm (31.1% up).
