KYIV, Sept. 4 - The French gas firm ENGIE and the Azerbaijani oil and gas company SOCAR are the first foreign traders to have started injecting gas into Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities, industry sources said Monday.

This is part of the government’s plan to make Ukraine an attractive provider of gas storage services for European gas traders covering Central and Eastern European markets.
