KYIV, Aug 31 – Ukraine has recommended increasing the price of coal made by state-owned coalmines for power generating companies by 10% to bring the coalmines to break even and provide generating companies with coal.

The price will increase to UAH 2,200 per metric ton from UAH 2,000/mt, according to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry. The value added tax and transportation expenses are not included in the price.
