KYIV, Aug 30 – Ukraine's state-run Ukroboronprom concern has welcomed the decision of the Ministry of Defense to use the light, mobile Korsar anti-tank guided missile system, which can hit targets at a range of 2.5 kilometers.
The weapon was designed by the state-owned Kyiv-based Luch enterprise, Ukroboronprom's press service reported on Wednesday.
The new missile system passed tests at the enterprise and underwent testing by government agencies, demonstrating its effectiveness. Some 50 Korsar missiles and launch pads have already been delivered.
