KYIV, Aug 29 – Ukraine’s security service SBU may have played an active role in shutting down the country’s liquefied petroleum gas sector and helping Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ally to dominate the market.
Serhiy Leshchenko, a senior lawmaker from the Petro Poroshenko group, accused a top SBU official for shutting down independent LPG traders to help Proton Energy, which is affiliated with Viktor Medvedchuk, a Putin ally.
