KYIV, Aug 29 - Ukraine in January-July 2017 increased electricity exports by 43% compared to the same period in 2016, to 3.519 billion kWh, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry reported.

Deliveries of electricity from the energy island of Burshtyn thermal power plant in the direction of Hungary, Slovakia and Romania increased by 12.9%, to 2.011 billion kWh.

Electricity supplies to Poland rose by 6.6%, to 719.708 million kWh.
